Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that influence financial management behavior by MSME actors. In a dynamic business context, effective financial management is key to the success of MSMEs. However, many MSMEs face challenges in managing their finances well. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the factors that influence the financial management behavior of MSMEs is crucial. This study combines a comprehensive literature review with field research to identify factors that influence the financial management behavior of MSMEs. The results show that several factors play a role in financial decision-making by MSMEs, including financial knowledge, risk awareness, access to financial resources, institutional support and economic environment factors. These findings provide valuable insights for MSME actors, government and other relevant parties in designing programs and policies that support effective financial management for MSMEs.
