Kebijakan Kode Etik Dan Kode Perilaku Di Lingkungan Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum Dan Perumahan Rakyat

Abstract

A code of ethics and code of conduct is an important thing to assure good organizational behavior and were essential principles for its member to behave ethically and work professionally in achieving common goals. It is more important to establish this basic principle in government institutions to be able to serve the civilian and distribute people’s goods as it was intended. This study aims to unleash the code of ethics and code of conduct policy in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing Republic of Indonesia about how its provision and implementation are if there’s misconduct or unethical behavior at the institutions. The method of this study is using a qualitative approach with online literature as the media to collect the data. With a deep process of identification and analysis, it was found that the code of ethics and code of conduct policy has been well established but the implementation and its reinforcement need to be redesigned to promote the ethical conduct and to sanction the employee who committed to break this policy.
